Information for Speakers

Here you can find all the important information about your lecture/presentation.
Speakers must register for the congress. You pay the full participation fee. Your submission will be included in the congress programme when you officially register for the congress.
Conflicts of interest
All speakers at the congress are obliged to disclose to the audience any potential conflicts of interest in relation to the content presented. For the disclosure, a corresponding slide must be shown at the beginning of the presentation. If there are no conflicts of interest, please also communicate this on a slide at the beginning of the presentation.
Online Submission of Presentations
You have the option of uploading your presentation via the congress portal. Please note that you can only upload the presentation via the congress portal until September 1st, 2024. Each file conversion may contain deviations from the original. Accordingly, changes may occur in the layout. This can occur especially when using older PowerPoint versions or fonts and video formats that are not included in the Windows standard. To ensure that the desired function of the presentation (e.g. animations or embedded videos) can be guaranteed, we recommend that you check the presentation on site in the media reception area.
Submission via Mail
Files smaller than 15 MB can be sent by e-mail to the following e-mail address by 01.09.2024: The e-mails must always be clearly attributable to the respective lecture. Therefore, please state the date, time, room and session title in the e-mail. After sending your e-mail, you will receive a confirmation of transmission from the system within a few minutes. Your e-mail will then be checked and confirmed again by a member of staff shortly before the event.
On-Site Submission of Presentations
You can hand in your presentation at the media reception on site. Please hand in the presentation at least one hour before the start of the session (not before the start of the lecture) so that the presentation can be checked and converted if necessary.
We are making special contingents of hotel rooms available for delegates. Binding reservations can be made via the website.
On-Site Information
Please pay attention to the time slot scheduled for your presentation, including discussion time. Please adhere to the specified presentation time and, if necessary, cancel your presentation if you exceed the speaking time so that all other speakers can present their presentations as planned. The chairpersons are explicitly instructed to interrupt their presentation if the speaking time is exceeded. Please be in the lecture room at least 5 minutes before the start of your session and familiarise yourself with the technology and stage set-up.
